Our First Day of School!

Welcome Parents!
I know it is a new experience for both you and your child to be their first day of Kindergarten! I just wanted to introduce myself and give you a little information about what I have planned for this year! If you are interested in keeping up with what your children are doing in the classroom, I plan on keeping my blog updated with current pictures and information on what we have been doing at least twice weekly.
I'd like to welcome you to Smyrna Elementary School and my classroom! My name is Ashley Mason, I graduated from MTSU in 2006 with a bachelors degree in Special Education. I have a passion for working with and teaching children. I live in Murfreesboro and enjoy reading any of the Twilight books :). A few of my hobbies include: playing soccer, traveling, and reading.

On your child's first day in my class I handed out a list of supplies that will be needed throughout the year. I would greatly appreciate it if the children could have the majority of these supplies in by Friday! If you have happened to lose the list then I will have it at the end of this blog as a reminder.
